Roofers first

The phone rings while you're on the roof.

Storm and leak call-outs, quotes that go quiet, and reviews that never get asked for. I build the website, and you own it. Then a system that answers, books and follows up, on a monthly plan.

You can't pick up. The customer rings the next firm.

A third of micro businesses failed to answer incoming calls, and 69% of callers who reached voicemail hung up without leaving a message (Moneypenny, 2016).

On a roof, in the wind, or driving between jobs, that's the whole morning. A leak at 2am is the same problem after you've packed the van away. The customer with water coming through the ceiling does not wait until you climb down.

The other jobs pile up around it. The quote from Thursday's survey sits until Sunday. The customer who was happy with the re-roof never gets asked for a Google review. Last winter's guttering job doesn't hear from you until the next storm.

Six parts, built for a roofing firm.

Sold on top of the website: a fixed setup, then a simple monthly plan. Prices on your free call. I fit only the parts you need, in the tools you already use.

  1. AI Voice Employee

Answers missed and out-of-hours calls. It qualifies a storm or leak call-out and books the visit, including while you're on a roof. It says it's your assistant, not a person.

  2. 24/7 AI Chatbot

Website and WhatsApp enquiries, with the photo and the postcode, land in one list. It answers "do you cover Stockport?" in your words.

  3. Database Reactivation

Wins back old quotes and past customers. Polite follow-ups on quotes that have gone quiet, stopped the moment they reply.

  4. Review Accelerator

A review request the day a job is signed off, so more 5-star Google reviews come from people who were happy. No gating and no incentive. Everyone who had the work gets the same honest ask.

  5. Referral Flywheel

Turns happy customers into referrals, with a simple ask once the job is done and they're pleased. No reward scheme invented on this page.

  6. Lifetime Value System

Servicing reminders, maintenance plans and seasonal check-ins. Gutters before winter. A look at last year's roof before the next storm season.

Sample wording, not a live client result. You approve every message before it goes out. See how the tiers fit together.

Three tiers. No prices on this page.

Fixed setup plus a simple monthly plan, priced on your call. You own the website. The AI systems run on the monthly plan.

  1. Foundation

The website, the 24/7 chatbot and the Review Accelerator. You get found, enquiries are captured, and happy customers are asked for a Google review.

  2. Growth

Foundation, plus the AI Voice Employee and Database Reactivation. Missed and out-of-hours calls get answered and booked, and old quotes get a follow-up.

  3. Autopilot

Growth, plus the Referral Flywheel, the Lifetime Value System, and a monthly review call with me.

My first job: D & P Roofing.

Roofers and builders in Westhoughton, near Bolton, with 30 years on the tools and 5.0 from 142 reviews on Which?. Their old site didn't show that score. As my first case study, I researched their local competitors and rebuilt the site free to beat them.

D & P's current website: a dark photo of an extension with their name in the middle and a pale quote button. Their current site
The new D & P site: a re-roofed house, the headline 'The price we quote is the price you pay', and their Which? score of 5.0 from 142 reviews. The new site

What the new site shows

Tap to call and WhatsApp on every screen, the Which? score up front, and photos of their own jobs. Load time on a phone went from 1.2 seconds to 0.6, measured 20 and 21 October 2026.

What's next for them

An out-of-hours assistant for emergency leak calls, which they asked for. No results to show yet. I'll publish real numbers when there are some.

Not a promise of your numbers

This is one website, built as a demo. It is not a claim about jobs won. The full write-up, including the local comparison, is on the work page.

A storm call at 2am.

A sample, for a roofer. Not a client result. Your assistant uses your wording and your rules.

  2. CustomerThe wind's taken the tiles off. Water's coming through the bedroom ceiling.
  3. Your assistantSorry to hear that. I'm the assistant, not a person on the tools. Don't go on the roof. If it's safe, put a bucket under the drip and keep clear of any electrics near the water. What's your postcode?
  4. CustomerBL3. Can someone come in the morning?
  5. Your assistantYou're booked for 9am. You'll get a reminder. If it gets worse before then, reply URGENT.
  6. To youUrgent roof leak, bedroom ceiling, BL3. Booked 9am. Photo requested.

Sample conversation. Prices and anything unusual still come to you first.

Roofers first. Not roofers only.

I started here because a missed call on a roof is obvious, and because D & P is the work I can show. Plumbers, sparks and builders get the same kind of hold-ups, and the same system works for them.

If you're not a roofer, the home page and the services page are the general version. The free audit is the same either way.
